We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive the successful delivery of our Professional Services technical solutions for both new and existing customers. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers and collaborate with internal teams—including Customer Success, Tech Support, and Training—to craft advanced LogicMonitor configurations and lead discovery, design, and deployment sessions. As a recognized subject matter expert on all things LogicMonitor, you’ll relay critical product insights to our Product/Development teams while guiding customers to adopt best practices and optimal configurations that support a comprehensive IT monitoring strategy.
- Lead Implementations: Oversee end-to-end deployments—from small to large-scale—ensuring flawless delivery of LogicMonitor solutions.
- Collaborative Engagement: Partner with PS Project and Customer Success Managers to kick off engagements and ensure seamless handoffs.
- Drive Customer Adoption: Facilitate remote and onsite working sessions for discovery, design, and deployment to accelerate LogicMonitor adoption.
- Optimize Configurations: Advocate and implement best practices to fine-tune customer LogicMonitor configurations.
- Automate Processes: Leverage REST API and scripting to automate routine and bulk tasks for enhanced efficiency.
- Provide Critical Feedback: Identify gaps, feature requests, and issues, and elevate insights to Product and Development teams.
- Develop Custom Solutions: Create tailored, scripted solutions using LogicMonitor features (Websites, LogicModules, NetScans) and external integrations.
- Share Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert by sharing technical lessons and best practices with peers and customers.
- Offer Cross-Functional Support: Occasionally assist Monitoring Engineering with LogicModule development and support Sales/Customer Success in closing deals or retaining customers.
- Stay Current: Continuously leverage internal resources to stay updated on new product features, enhancements, and best practices.
What You'll Need:
- 3–4 years of experience as an IT professional or software engineer.
- 2+ years in IT operations, including systems administration, network engineering, and DevOps.
- 1+ years of hands-on scripting/programming experience in Python, PowerShell, Java, or Groovy.
- Subject matter expert in one or more IT domains—such as Windows/Linux server, networking, security, storage, virtualization, or cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with web technologies, including HTTP, JSON, RegEx, and REST APIs.
- Willingness to travel 10–20%.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving.
