The primary responsibilities of all Project Management team members are to:

  • Understand agreed scope of effort, customer’s goals, & success criteria and develop a project success plan accordingly.
  • Establish project workflows and communication standards for project delivery team, including executive-level stakeholder reporting where required.
  • Serve as facilitator for all aspects of project delivery and ensure alignment to scope and timeline.
  • Track progress, proactively communicate risk where identified, and usher project to completion, ensuring PS is providing value both to the customer and to LogicMonitor.

The Sr. Project Manager II facilitates coordination, scheduling and reporting of multiple large-scale PS implementation projects, including the team’s most complex custom scoped work, and contributes to or owns some internal or operational efforts as identified. This position works closely with Sales and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams to coordinate project delivery plans alongside PS Solutions Engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a project leader and manage all aspects of most complex large and custom Professional Services projects or programs, including monitoring timeline, scheduling, scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, and budget through lifecycle.
  • Successfully juggle multiple, simultaneous PS projects, including engagements with extensive timelines with multiple phases of deployments.
  • Serve as internal and customer point-of-contact for assigned PS projects.
  • Effectively translate technical requirements to clear project plans with phases, milestones, tasks, dependencies and anticipated level of effort.
  • Develop and implement project schedules to meet agreed-to deadlines; facilitate coordination and scheduling of project working sessions.
  • Maintain visibility of project status through regular reporting and communication, including communicating with Executive-level and Senior Leadership contacts internally and externally.
  • Attend and engage in ongoing client meetings and working sessions.
  • Consistently maintain up-to-date data fields, project notes, project timelines/dates and timesheets of all assigned PS projects.
  • Anticipate, identify and highlight risks, issues, and roadblocks within projects; devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies to address appropriately.
  • Ensure projects follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in/Ownership of onboarding/training of new hires.
  • Serve as a resource to others in the PMO / PS Team; assist others with complex problem solving.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement; take ownership of implementing improvements.
  • Contribute to or own internal initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years IT, project management, or consultation experience.
  • CAPM, PMP, and/or CSPO certifications a plus.
  • Confluence / Mavenlink / Asana experience a plus.
  • Expert level ability to solve nearly all project issues with limited help or escalation.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as with co-workers on team projects and initiatives.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred.
  • Extensive proficiency in communication and collaboration with technical contacts internally and externally.
  • Expert proficiency with project management tools and methodology.
