What You\’ll Do:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) executes outbound sales development campaigns to create qualified sales leads for the LogicMonitor sales team. They are expected to represent LM well by demonstrating solid product knowledge, clearly communicate with prospective clients, identify pain and requirements and determine when they are good candidates for sales opportunities. The BDR needs to close the loop between lead stage to opportunity by funneling learning from prospect engagements back into the sales team in an effort to improve productivity and create predictable BDR team results.

Here\’s a closer look at this key role:

  • Utilise your technical and value-based knowledge to create leads out of cold (or warm) outbound prospecting.
  • Ask qualifying questions to better understand needs and timing.
  • Determine if LogicMonitor is a good fit for the prospect.
  • Play an active role in campaign creation and determining target accounts.
  • Get creative with your prospecting – utilising personalised videos and direct mail.
  • Add additional sales pipeline to increase the growth of LogicMonitor.
  • Be on the \”frontlines\”, relay any information that may be of value to the team, be it best practices, new features, competitive pressures, etc.
  • Work as a team player to help make your peers and LogicMonitor better.
  • Attend daily tribal knowledge sessions designed to help you improve your skills.
  • Attend a daily reflection session prepared to discuss your accomplishments for the day.
  • Attend a monthly business review meeting to discuss your accomplishments for the previous month and key learnings to overachieve quota.
  • Send the weekly stats email by 3pm every Friday.
  • Must attend weekly sales training and weekly technical training.
  • Minimum 80 dials every day with LinkedIn, emails, and direct mails on top.
  • Connect with at least 50 new connections each week on LinkedIn.
  • Minimum of 100 calls on blitz day.
  • 100% quota attainment over 6 rolling months for promotion of QUALITY work.
  • With exception, if quota attainment has been 80%+ with high conversion to SQO, POV, we will make a consideration.

What You\’ll Need:

  • IT and/or Enterprise SaaS software knowledge.
  • High energy with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
  • Manage a lead to meeting conversion quota on a monthly basis.
  • Manage all activities in a CRM tool.
  • The ability to articulate your accomplishments and future plans during internal team meetings.
  • Track record within a Business Development Representative role in software.
