We are hiring a Principal Business Analyst to help lead CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, and AI-enabled Revenue Operations transformation. This role partners with Sales, Partners, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Product, Billing, Customer Success, and Business Technology to design scalable CPQ processes, improve quote accuracy, reduce manual workarounds, strengthen revenue data quality, and identify practical AI/automation opportunities. This is a business-facing CPQ role. The right person understands SaaS commercial motions and metrics, including ARR, ACV, TCV, MRR, Renewable ARR, bookings, churn, expansion, contraction, uplift, NRR, GRR, forecasting, renewals, amendments, co-terming, ramp deals, early renewals, mid-term upsells, cancel-and-replace, multi-year contracts, billing frequency changes, partner deals, and non-standard enterprise structures.

Here’s a closer look at this key role:

  • AI, Automation & Revenue Intelligence: Identify AI/automation use cases for quote validation, bookings exception checks, approval recommendations, guided selling, data quality alerts, and intelligent reporting. Partner with business and technology teams to ensure AI-enabled workflows use clear rules, trusted data, measurable outcomes, controls, user experience, and human review.
  • Strategic Future AI CPQ & Quote-to-Cash: Help define the future-state CPQ and Quote-to-Cash roadmap across new business, renewals, amendments, co-terming, ramp deals, partner deals, and non-standard enterprise structures. Identify root causes, process gaps, technical debt, and high-impact improvements that reduce friction, improve revenue accuracy, and scale Revenue Operations.
  • Business Operations, Process & Data Ownership: Own business process and data flow across Sales, Partners, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Product, Billing, Customer Success, and Business Technology. Define controls for approvals, legacy SKU usage, professional services attach, legal/security review, quote submission, exception handling, and billing/provisioning handoffs.
  • Requirements, Delivery & Execution: Translate business needs into BRDs, process flows, UAT test scenarios, release readiness plans, documentation, Change management and Enablement. Drive initiatives from discovery through design, build, UAT, release, adoption, hypercare, and post-release support.
  • Revenue Data & Forecasting Accuracy: Improve data accuracy across CPQ, CRM, reporting, forecasting, billing, provisioning, and customer lifecycle processes. Own analysis of ARR, ACV, TCV, Renewable ARR, primary quote logic, renewal/growth classification, bookings validation, and executive reporting impacts.
  • Mentorship & Team Enablement: Mentor analysts and business partners on CPQ concepts, Quote-to-Cash processes, requirements writing, testing discipline, and stakeholder communication. Build reusable templates, process documentation, playbooks, and best practices to improve business analysis quality and execution.

What You’ll Need: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, CPQ Analyst, or similar role. 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting CPQ or complex Quote-to-Cash processes. Strong understanding of SaaS revenue concepts and commercial terms, including ARR, ACV, TCV, MRR, bookings, Renewable ARR, churn, expansion, contraction, uplift, NRR, GRR, renewals, amendments, co-terming, ramp deals, early renewals, mid-term upsells, cancel-and-replace, multi-year contracts, billing frequency changes, and non-standard terms. Working knowledge of CPQ concepts such as product rules, price rules, bundles, quote lines, quote templates, approvals, amendments, renewals, pricing, and discounting logic. Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, Jira stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, UAT plans, and release readiness plans. Ability to analyse revenue data issues across CPQ, CRM, reporting, forecasting, billing, provisioning, and customer lifecycle processes. Interest in AI-enabled business process improvement, automation, intelligent reporting, and data-driven operational controls. Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical system behaviour in clear business terms.
