We are currently looking for reliable and friendly School Catering Assistants / Dinner Ladies for ongoing work in welcoming school environments. This role is ideal for someone who is committed, hardworking, and enjoys working as part of a team to support busy school kitchens, lunchtime services and care homes.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS
- Previous experience working in schools / care homes or catering environments
- Available and committed to Monday to Friday, school hours OR available for early mornings, weekdays and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ideally a driver with access to transport
Duties may include:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals to staff, guests, pupils
- Clearing tables and maintaining dining areas
- Washing up and general kitchen support
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
