We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior HR Officer to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional with strong recruitment and people services experience to play a key role in delivering a high-quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collating information from disciplinary investigations and producing investigation reports for Heads of Service to review and determine appropriate action
  • Depending on experience, conducting witness interviews as part of disciplinary investigations
  • Reviewing and updating employee onboarding documents and HR registers that require completion
  • Drafting formal company procedures to align with the Employee Handbook, based on information provided by the Managing Director
  • Communicating mandatory training requirements to employees and maintaining training records, including evidence of completion
  • Assisting with active employee relations cases where appropriate
  • Responding to HR queries and supporting the Administrator with a variety of HR administrative tasks

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous HR and recruitment experience
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A professional, confidential approach and strong attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems
