Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist further education college in Dorset that provides day and residential support for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join the team on both:
- Full-time temporary contracts
- Full-time permanent positions
The Role:
- Supporting young people aged 16–25 with ASC and SEMH needs
- Assisting with personalised learning programmes
- Promoting independence, emotional regulation, and life skills
- Working closely with teaching staff and residential teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with SEN, ASC, or SEMH (preferred but not essential)
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential
