Hour: 35 hours per week

Pay: £13.47 per hour weekdays & £14.47 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9.30pm to 7.30am – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-centred care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

  • You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient; it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
  • You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. Training will be provided.
  • A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
  • You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
  • Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence.
  • Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Follow individual personalised care plans.
  • Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person-centred care.
  • Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.
