HGV Technician - Swansea Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle dealership for an experienced HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in Swansea. The Role * Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults * Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance * Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer standards * Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team Requirements * NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) * Previous HGV Technician experience * Strong diagnostics and fault-finding ability * MOT licence beneficial but not essential * Full UK driving licence preferred * Own tools preferred Package * £20.40 per hour basic * 40-hour working week * Weekly rotating shifts: * 06:00 - 14:30 * 14:00 - 22:30 * Late shift Friday finish: 13:00 - 21:30 * Saturday mornings available as overtime: * 07:00 - 12:00 * Overtime paid at time and a half * Bonus scheme worth up to £2 per hour sold * 30 days holiday per year (27 bookable days plus 3 mandatory closure days) * Additional day off for Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday * Ongoing training and development opportunities Location: Swansea Depot, Morriston Enterprise Park, Swansea, SA6 8QL
