We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Agent with a solid highways background to join a team working on junction improvements in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an essential infrastructure project for a period of 18 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for the junction improvement works.

• Ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Provide reports on site progress, challenges, and resolutions to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in highways construction and junction improvements.

• Strong understanding of site management and engineering principles.

• Ability to manage a team, monitor progress, and resolve site issues promptly.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders.

• SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Previous experience working on highways or junction improvement projects is essential.
