A leading infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major projects across the region. With an annual turnover of circa £75m, the business has a strong pipeline of secured work and offers long-term progression within a stable commercial team.
This role would suit an experienced Senior QS with a strong infrastructure background and solid NEC contract experience.
The Role- Commercial management of infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Administration of NEC contracts
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
- Managing subcontract procurement and accounts
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Supporting project delivery teams and client relationships
- Mentoring junior commercial staff where required
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or civil engineering
- Strong NEC contract knowledge is essential
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships
- Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
- Hybrid working – 2 days from home, 3 days office/site
- Long-term secured work pipeline
