Our client is a specialist industrial services provider supporting major energy, industrial and infrastructure projects across the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team based in Scunthorpe.

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting equipment and materials to client sites across the UK, ensuring all work is carried out safely, professionally and in compliance with transport legislation.
This role requires flexibility to support ongoing operational requirements, with a mixture of depot-based and deployed work available.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle in accordance with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting.
- Maintain accurate driving and vehicle records.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Deliver equipment and materials safely to industrial and energy sector sites.
- Work flexibly to meet operational and client requirements.
- Represent the company professionally whilst on customer sites.
- Follow all company procedures and transport legislation at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Medium Risk Confined Space Certification.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.

Applicants must have a clean and professional driving record.
Applicants with IN, DD or DR endorsements will not be considered.
- Pay & Benefits
- Yard Rate: £12.71 per hour (Monday to Friday).
- Deployed Rate: £16.50 - £17.70 per hour (Monday 6:00am to Saturday 6:00am), depending on skills and experience.
- Weekend Deployed Rate: £21.86 per hour (Saturday 6:00am to Monday 6:00am), depending on skills and experience.
- 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
