We are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a busy and well-established fleet operation in the Sheffield area. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop, responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches to the highest safety and compliance standards. You will play a key role in keeping vehicles roadworthy, minimising downtime, and ensuring services run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair on PSV vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation
- Complete defect repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards
- Work collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working on PSV / HGV / commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
- A proactive approach with a focus on first-time fixes
