A long-established, family-owned consultancy practice in Cheshire is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Fund Monitor to support a growing portfolio of construction projects across the North West. This is a client-side consultancy role offering exposure to a varied mix of residential developments, commercial schemes, hospitality projects, and fit-out works. The business manages projects from initial feasibility through to completion, providing cost management, programme oversight, and strategic client advice throughout the full project lifecycle.
The position would suit either:
- An intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a broader client-side role, or
- A more experienced QS / Fund Monitor seeking greater autonomy within a close-knit consultancy environment.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Cost planning and budget management
- Fund monitoring and reporting
- Procurement support and contract administration
- Valuations and variation management
- Project scheduling oversight
- Supporting projects from inception through to final account
Requirements
- Consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience is essential
- Strong commercial and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good understanding of construction contracts and reporting
Salary & Package
- Salary up to £65,000
