Materials Controller

Logical PS is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company. We require a Material Coodinator in Belfast. Essentially you will need: * Prior experience in materials management, freight logistics, or a related field is advantageous. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse audiences. * A strong analytical mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a team-oriented approach * A background and/or understanding of the valve industry would be advantageous The Job: * Expedite materials and monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries. * Liaise with suppliers, manage lead times, and resolve any delays or issues. * Coordinate logistics activities and create shipping documents while maintaining proper certification storage. * Freight Planning: Coordinate and optimise freight logistics across the UK, EU, and global markets. * Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. * Occasionally handle local part collection and delivery. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental needs.
