We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver / Drayman on behalf of a leading drinks distributor based in the LS9 area of Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role
- Delivering beverages to commercial customers across the region
- Working as part of a dray delivery operation
- Heavy manual handling involved
- Monday to Friday
- Finish time: Approximately 5:00pm
- Ongoing work with immediate starts available
- £17.50 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
- Weekly pay
- Temp to Perm opportunity
- Salary of £38,000 per annum upon successful completion of the temporary period
- Long-term career opportunity with a well-established employer
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulationsPhysically fit and willing to undertake manual handling duties
- No major endorsements or serious driving convictions
