We’re working with a leading construction contractor with an outstanding industry reputation and a turnover exceeding £100m, looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their fast-paced M&E business unit. This is a varied role working across multiple sectors with responsibility for commercial management from pre-construction through to final account.
Projects & Sectors
- New build housing estates
- Schools, colleges, and universities
- Private sector clients
Scope of Works
- Full new build mechanical & electrical packages
- Solar installations
- Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Plant room renewals
- Additional ASHP and solar upgrades to existing buildings
Contract values range from £50k to £2.5m.
The Role
- Managing project costs and commercial performance
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Working closely with operational and delivery teams
- Supporting multiple projects across the region
Requirements
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or M&E/building services
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Degree qualified preferred
