Job Title: Group Outsourcing & Inventory Controller Location: South Yorkshire / Alcester / Hybrid Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (with flexibility to support business operations) Reports To: Supply Chain Lead Department: Supply Chain About the Role This is a long standing client of mine, a proud company, rising hugely on the market, and aiming for a new drive within 2026, so many new key roles are coming into play, if you are looking for development & a company where you will hold strong status within the market of FMCG you need to apply! As Group Outsourcing & Inventory Controller, you’ll take ownership of inventory accuracy, outsourced production flows, and warehouse coordination across multiple sites. This is a strategic opportunity to bring efficiency, control, and long-term impact to our operations. You’ll play a key role in reducing stock discrepancies, managing external production costs, and optimising how stock is planned, stored, and moved throughout the business. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate with third-party manufacturers and Co-Packers to manage outsourced finished goods and ensure stock levels align with forecasts. * Work closely with the Production Planner to assess and recommend insourcing opportunities. * Monitor and investigate inventory variances across all sites; lead monthly stock counts and reconciliation. * Maintain accurate stock records in Brewman, using forecasts to anticipate future needs. * Escalate potential shortages early and collaborate with planning, procurement, and logistics to resolve issues. * Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure clear visibility of stock across internal and external sites. * Lead and train colleagues to ensure robust cover and maintain up-to-date SOPs. * Drive continuous improvement in stock accuracy, outsourcing efficiency, and cost reduction. * Manage the Warehouse Team (with support from the Supply Chain Lead), ensuring safe working practices, traffic flow, and effective resourcing. * Collaborate with the Transport Planner, warehouse, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
