Site Manager – Industrial New Build (Permanent)\\n\\nLocation: Gateshead\\nEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-Time\\nSector: Industrial Sheds / Warehousing New Build\\n\\nOverview\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the delivery of industrial shed new build projects in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of site management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage programme delivery, and ensure all RAMS and site documentation are compliant and up to date.\\n\\nThis is an oportunity to join a new developing North East company who ahve ventured inot the contracting market, strong established client relationships and a briming order book. This could be a great move for someoen who wants to grow as the company does.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead day-to-day site operations to ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery of industrial new build projects.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to project specifications.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain and manage the construction programme, monitoring progress and mitigating delays where necessary.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Prepare, review, and implement Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct daily and weekly site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety checks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, company standards, and site procedures.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee material deliveries, site logistics, and waste management.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise effectively with clients, design teams, project managers, and inspectors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain accurate site documentation including diaries, progress reports, permits, and inspection records.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure high standards of workmanship and deliver quality results in line with project requirements.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Site Manager, ideally within industrial or commercial new build environments.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong background in managing subcontractor teams and site labour.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven ability to manage programmes and keep projects on schedule.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Solid understanding of construction processes and industrial steel-frame builds.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Demonstrable experience creating and managing RAMS and safety documentation.\\n\\n * \\n\\n SMSTS (essential).\\n\\n * \\n\\n CSCS Manager’s Card (preferred).\\n\\n * \\n\\n First Aid at Work (preferred).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competent IT skills for reporting and documentation.\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary package.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Long-term, permanent role with career development opportunities.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Supportive project team and well-structured company environment.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Opportunity to work on significant regional industrial build projects.\\n\\nFor more information or a confidential chat contact Lee Hopkin
