We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Rescue Operatives to join a leading industrial company for a major project in Edinburgh starting in early 2026. The ideal candidates will have proven experience working in high-risk environments, including confined space rescue, and be ready to take on a challenging role that ensures the safety of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-risk rescue operations in confined space environments
  • Be prepared for emergency situations, including rescue from height and confined spaces
  • Carry out regular safety checks and risk assessments in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure safety standards are consistently met
  • Respond promptly and efficiently in emergency situations to minimise risk to personnel

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid High Risk & Rescue Confined Space Certification
  • CCNSG (Construction Safety Certification Scheme)
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Proven experience in confined space and high-risk rescue operations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond to emergencies swiftly
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in challenging and potentially hazardous environments
  • Full UK driving license
