A leading civil engineering contractor based in Durham is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Lead and manage site teams, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships

• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements

• Report on progress, budgets, and key project milestones

• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all live sites

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager ready to step up) within the civil engineering sector

• Strong knowledge of highways, infrastructure, and general civils schemes

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Familiar with NEC or similar forms of contract

• Full UK driving licence
