Façade or cladding experience would be beneficial but isn't essential — the focus is on someone commercially aware, proactive, and confident managing projects and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting on live projects
- Procuring subcontractors and managing accounts through to final account
- Preparing interim applications, payment assessments, and final accounts
- Working closely with site teams and project managers to track costs and variations
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and ensuring effective cost control
- Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction (circa 2 to 4 years)
- Strong understanding of cost control and commercial processes
- Ability to manage subcontractor accounts independently
- Good communication skills and confidence working with site teams
- Organised and commercially focused approach
- £45,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experience
- Hybrid working with a mix of site and office-based work
