We’re hiring a Finance AI Agent Analyst (6–8 Weeks) to help extend our AI Agent platform into Finance, with a focus on Accounting and Insurance!

Role Details:

  • Location: UK – Remote / Hybrid (London preferred)
  • Duration: 6–8 Weeks
  • Type: Internship

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse Workday Financials objects such as journals, ledgers, suppliers & customers
  • Understand insurance accounting flows including claims, premiums, reserves & reinsurance
  • Identify automation opportunities for Finance AI Agents (journal creation, claims reconciliation, anomaly detection, premium allocation)
  • Use Python (pandas, NumPy) to analyse financial & insurance datasets
  • Build exploratory analytics to detect patterns, inefficiencies & automation triggers
  • Develop lightweight data models to support AI Agent logic with relevant prompts for model training
  • Apply NLP techniques to analyse claims notes, policy documents, reconciliation narratives & accounting memos
  • Prototype AI workflows using Local LLMs and configurable cloud LLM endpoints (AWS or other providers)
  • Build small AI components that classify, summarise, or extract financial insights
  • Map how Workday Financials integrates with insurance systems (policy admin, claims, billing)
  • Document data flows and identify where AI Agents can be embedded
  • Test early AI Agent prototypes, validate accounting logic & financial outputs

Must-Haves:

  • Strong interest in data analytics and financial data
  • Working knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib)
  • Curiosity about NLP models and LLMs
  • Interest in AWS cloud AI services & running local AI models
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Interest in insurance processes such as claims, underwriting & policy administration
  • Ability to analyse financial workflows and identify automation opportunities
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
