This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Sales professional to join a successful business with a strong reputation for service quality. In a non-corporate environment, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own time, with the long-term prospect of helping grow a successful contracts portfolio within a growing business.
What you’ll do:
- As a Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on selling Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and service agreements for Fire & Security systems into commercial and industrial customers.
- Working with both new and existing clients, you’ll help ensure their systems remain compliant, operational and fully maintained.
- Your focus will be on developing long-term service relationships rather than one-off equipment sales.
- You’ll proactively develop new business through networking, LinkedIn and other traditional sales channels, building meaningful relationships with facilities managers, property managers and business owners across your region.
- The role will be split between the office in Nottingham and time spent visiting clients, developing service contract opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.
What you’ll need:
- Proven track record within a Sales or Business Development role.
- Experience within the Fire & Security industry, ideally with knowledge of service or maintenance contracts.
- Understanding of systems such as Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify contract opportunities.
- Flexibility to travel and visit clients across the region.
Other Information:
- Basic salary £50k - £60k + bonus (OTE £20k).
- Office location: Nottingham.
- 25 days annual leave + BH.
