Full Stack Web Developer
Location: HQ β Harrogate / Hybrid
Salary: Circa Β£55k
Reporting to: CPTO (Chief Product & Technology Officer)

About the Role: Our client is looking for another Developer to join the growing team and take a pivotal role in the ongoing development of their platform. You will be working on projects to build a scalable web application, collaborating closely with the CPTO and wider team to shape the technical direction and deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
- Optimise relational database structures (PostgreSQL)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
- Work with customer success teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Contribute to a culture of testing and clean code through TDD and code reviews
Required Skills & Experience
- Programming Languages: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript
- Frontend Technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript
- Backend Technologies: Ruby on Rails
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
- Development Tools: Git, GitHub, AJAX, MVC Architecture
Desirable / Bonus Experience
- Sidekiq, Heroku, Github workflows
- Familiarity with Hotwire / Turbo / Stimulus
