Contract Delivery Manager – Global Data Strategy Location: London / Hybrid Contract: 6 months+ Are you an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong background in data initiatives and technical delivery ? We’re looking for a Contract Data Delivery Manager to join a Global Data Strategy function, helping multiple engineering teams deliver high-quality data products, programmes and projects aligned to strategic business objectives. This is an opportunity to step into a complex data environment and make an immediate impact — bringing teams together, managing dependencies, removing blockers and ensuring strategic data initiatives are delivered successfully. You'll work at the intersection of Data, Product, Engineering and Transformation , coordinating delivery across multiple teams and ensuring everyone is aligned around common outcomes. Delivering data initiatives across programmes, projects and/or data products • Managing complex dependencies, blockers, risks and competing priorities • Facilitating cross-team planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and roadmap sessions • Building consensus and influencing stakeholders without direct authority • Translating product and data strategy into clear, actionable delivery plans • Working with Engineering Managers to improve ways of working and delivery effectiveness • Driving continuous improvement across the wider Data organisation • We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives within a data and technology environment . Proven experience delivering data initiatives , including programmes, projects and/or data products ✅ Strong experience working with Data, Engineering and Product teams ✅ Experience managing complex, multi-team technology and data deliveries ✅ Strong understanding of data platforms and data engineering environments ✅ Experience working with Data Lakes ✅ Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills ✅ Experience with Agile, Scrum and Lean delivery practices ✅ Strong ability to manage dependencies, risks and competing priorities ✅ Experience influencing and building consensus without direct authority ✅ Good understanding of the software development lifecycle ✅ Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Linear Experience with OKRs, roadmap planning, strategic transformation or delivery maturity/process improvement would also be highly beneficial.
