At Logic Fire & Security we are recruiting a Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in the Leeds/M62 corridor area. This role focuses on the installation, testing, commissioning, and fault rectification of fire and security systems across project-based works. The position suits a technically minded engineer with strong problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and experience working to specifications and drawings within a site environment.

What You Receive For Joining UsWe offer a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, and in addition you will receive 25 days holiday plus Bank Holiday, a company pension, along with a company van and the tools you will need to do your job effectively. You will be reporting into the Senior Project Manager and working closely with key stakeholders across the business on a range of installation and commissioning projects. Working 40 hrs per week. The possibility of you occasionally working away from home may be required.
Responsibilities- Installing, testing, and commissioning fire and security systems, including Gent systems (with Advance training completed), alongside security installations, remedial works, and structured cable installation.
- Carrying out fault finding and rectification works, ensuring systems operate correctly and compliantly following commissioning and testing.
- Reading and interpreting specifications and drawings, applying a strong technical mindset to decision making and on-site problem solving.
- Providing clear reporting, communicating effectively with project management, and demonstrating leadership on site where required, including site supervision responsibilities.
- Proven experience in fire and security system installation and commissioning, with strong technical knowledge along with knowledge and experience of working on wireless systems and programming.
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, able to liaise effectively with management and site contacts.
- Leadership capability or previous site supervision experience, with a proactive and professional attitude.
