Overview:
Having recently upgraded to Dynamics 365 Business Central version 23 (BC230), we are seeking an experienced developer to support the design, development, and customisation of solutions within the platform. Upcoming projects include a comprehensive performance review and process transformation initiative, where the successful candidate will help shape the future of our operations by fully leveraging the capabilities of Business Central.
Ideal candidates will bring experience across retail, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain management, and will demonstrate a strong grasp of the full software development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customise Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality, including vertical extensions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal integration and system performance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring applications are robust, scalable, and reliable.
- Participate in all phases of the development life cycle - from requirements gathering through to implementation and ongoing support.
- Operate effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record developing solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proficiency in AL, C/AL, C/Side, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with third-party integrations and external system connectivity.
- Familiarity with APIs and web services.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and database design/management.
- Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
