Purpose of the Role
To provide field based operational support to customers in the southern region of the country.
Service and repair of a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, floor care machinery and car wash equipment
Responsibilities
- Health & Safety
- Check, repair and maintain all equipment. Ensure it is functioning correctly - take out of service any that pose danger.
- Conduct regular PAT Testing of equipment on site as per schedule
- Ensure correct PPE is always used
- Provide technical training on how to use machinery safely and train subcontractors or staff on site if necessary.
- Check that work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards.
- Carry out Health & Safety site audits if required.
- Team Coaching
- Advise staff and customers of basic maintenance checks for equipment to reduce unnecessary call outs.
- Carry out observations and feedback findings to management with regards to correct use of equipment
- Operations
- Respond to jobs/callouts as soon as possible if within your region (accounts mapped to you individually)
- Quality results with volumes met.
- Maintenance and repairs of jet washes, hoovers and other equipment as required.
- Stock control of spare parts carried on service vehicles
- Ensure timely repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Regular PAT Testing of site equipment
- Ensure that all company and client policies and procedures are followed.
- Proactively check and ensure correct use of equipment and materials to carry out the job.
- Assist operations team with setups of new sites.
- Preparing and dispatching orders (equipment & Chemical product) where required
- Able to start work earlier, work overtime or in weekends if required
- Administration
- Ensure that all jobs are responded to in a timely manner.
- Keep records of all PAT Testing, maintenance, and repairs of equipment online, as per instructions from your Line Manager
- Record all jobs completed as per agreed procedures.
- Record mileage correctly always and complete monthly vehicle checks
- Client Relations
- Liaise with clients to ensure correct usage and maintenance of equipment.
- Always appear professional and courteous to clients while on site
- Satisfied client, demonstrated by feedback.
- Improved audit results

- HR and other company policies followed without exception
- Occasional overnight stays with possibility of travel abroad
Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge and Experience
- Electrical or mechanical experience would be preferable
- Some knowledge of excel and outlook and other IT systems
- Valid and clean Driving License
