Location: Heathrow Airport (LHR) with occasional travel to Gatwick Airport (LGW) when required

Logic 360 is working in partnership with a leading aviation services provider to recruit an experienced IT Co-Ordinator to support operations at Heathrow and Gatwick Airport. The IT Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure across all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) sites. Acting as the first point of escalation for IT issues, this role oversees day-to-day IT operations, provides hands-on technical support, and ensures compliance with company standards and cyber security protocols. The IT Co-Ordinator will also manage relationships with vendors, coordinate IT projects, and partner with operational teams to deliver reliable and effective technology solutions.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure seamless IT operations at GSE sites by maintaining robust infrastructure, resolving technical issues quickly, and safeguarding the business against cyber risks. By supporting hardware, software, networks, and user needs, the IT Co-ordinator enables efficient site operations and business continuity. This role also contributes to IT strategy by identifying improvements, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

  • IT Infrastructure & Systems Management (30%)
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems, hardware, and networks at GSE sites.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to minimise downtime.
    • Support system upgrades, migrations and configurations to ensure technology remains fit for purpose.
  • Technical Support & Service Delivery (25%)
    • Provide first and second-line IT support for the site employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Act as an escalation point for IT tickets and ensure timely resolution in line with the SLA’s.
    • Train and guide employees on using IT systems effectively, encouraging self-sufficiency where appropriate.
  • System Installation & Configuration (15%)
    • Manage the set-up, installation, and configuration of computers, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
    • Ensure devices are compliant with company IT policies and security standards.
  • Collaboration & Business Support (10%)
    • Partner with GSE operations, commercial, finance and admin teams to support business processes and system use.
    • Assist in developing system enhancements workflows or reports to improve efficiency.
    • Support the integration of IT systems with ERP, finance, or operational platforms.
  • Security & Compliance (10%)
    • Monitor and respond to cyber security alerts, escalating risks where required.
    • Ensure adherence to IT security policies, GDPR, and industry regulations.
    • Regularly review and implement patches, updates, and best practices.
  • Documentation & Vendor Management (10%)
    • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, systems and user requests.
    • Ensure IT documentation, procedures and manuals are kept up to date.
    • Act as primary contact for IT vendors, monitoring service quality and resolving issues.
  • Project Co-Ordination (5%)
    • Support planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
    • Track project milestones and provide status updates to management.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or equivalent

Experience

  • Required: 3-5 years’ experience in IT support, co-ordination, or systems administration.
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP, finance or business software platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Navision / Business Central)

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud systems)
  • Proficiency in IT service management
  • Understanding of cyber security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills
