Start your day at the heart of one of the UKs busiest airports.

Logic 360, working in partnership with Times24, Europes largest valet operation, is looking for reliable Car Park Drivers to join the team at Gatwick.

You will be one of the first people travellers meet as they set off on holiday, so a warm, professional manner goes a long way.

There is real room to grow here.

We invest in our people and can sponsor the right individuals for an Airside Pass, opening up further opportunities across the airport.

After a year of service, there is also scope, subject to performance, to be offered direct employment with Times24.

The role

You will move customer vehicles between the terminal and our secure storage areas, return them to the collection bays ready for the customers arrival, scan keys and keep the operation running smoothly.

It is active, outdoor work, so you will be on the go throughout your shift.

A seasonal role

The airport follows a natural rhythm.

Summer, roughly April to October, is our busiest period and offers the most shifts and hours.

Work is quieter through autumn and winter, and while we cannot guarantee the same volume all year round, we will always look to offer alternative opportunities across our other contracts wherever we can.

What we look for

As the face of Logic 360 and Times24, every driver is expected to

  • Drive safely and courteously, within all airport and road regulations.
  • Treat every vehicle with care, with all vehicles checked in and out.
  • Bring a positive, professional attitude to each shift.
  • Deliver excellent service to customers and represent the client well.
  • Report any incident or damage to the client straight away.
  • Use the company and clocking systems on every shift.
  • What you will need
  • A full, manual UK driving licence held for at least two years, with no more than three penalty points and no IN10, DR10 or DD10 convictions.

A manual licence is essential, as our fleet includes manual vehicles.

  • Right to work in the UK, plus a valid passport or full birth certificate, proof of address and National Insurance number.
  • No unspent or disqualifying criminal convictions.
  • Aged 23 or over.
  • Training and onboarding
  • Before going live on the rota, every driver completes a short training pathway:
  • A driving assessment, carried out by Times24. As part of this assessment you will be required to complete high-way code questionnaire (multiple-choice 80% pass rate).
  • An induction, hosted by Logic 360, which includes a security interview on the day.
  • A day on site, buddied up with an experienced driver.
  • Once these are complete you will go -live on the Rota

Please bring valid photo identification to your induction, as this is needed to obtain your landside pass.

This role is based landside, in the public areas of the airport such as the car parks and terminal forecourts.

Airport security regulations require anyone working in these areas to hold a valid landside pass, which is granted following your security interview and an identity check.

Fuller airside clearance is only needed if you later choose to take on airside work under other contracts Logic 360 service.

We will discuss this with you on your induction day.

Hours and shifts

The car park runs 24/7, Monday to Sunday, with various patterns available including 4 on 4 off.

Flexibility on start and finish times is important, as these move with passenger demand.

  • Days: shifts of 8, 10 or 12 hours, starting from 3am, 4am or 5am, with some later starts at 8am, 10am and midday.
  • Nights: starting 6pm, 8pm or 10pm, usually finishing at 6am, with some flexibility to finish earlier.
  • Summer retention bonus

Qualifying drivers receive a season-end bonus, based on time served on the contract, this will be confirmed with you subject to your start date and the successful completion of the peak summer season.

To qualify you will need to meet the seasons attendance, weekend and shift-cover requirements, follow company and uniform standards, and keep a clean record for vehicle handling.
