We are a resource partner for the UK’s largest Parking Operators, and we are seeking a Car Park Attendant to support operations at Gatwick Airport. As a successful candidate, you will be assisting travellers as they arrive at the Airport, giving them a positive experience from the outset as they embark on their journey. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The job involves moving customer vehicles from the terminal to secure storage areas for the duration of the customer’s holiday.
- Then bring the cars back to the terminal, parking them into the return bays, scan the keys and pick up another vehicle.
- Ensuring all incidents are reported to the line manager.
- Adhering to all Gatwick Airport directives and regulations.
- Compliant with all Health & Safety Legislations.
- Comply and adhere to the Highway Code.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Respectful and courteous driving skills that always adhere to road regulations.
- Ability to follow instructions from management and act professionally at all times.
- Good team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to customer service.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure that vehicles are delivered and returned promptly.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a UK Driving License for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Cannot have any of the following driving convictions on your License: IN10, DR10 or DD10.
- Valid Passport or Full Birth certificate.
- Proof of Address and National Insurance Number.
- No Previous unspent or disqualifying Criminal Convictions.
- Driving Assessment and Compulsory Induction Training must be completed and will be carried out by our client before commencement of the role.
- Must be 23 years old or older.
Contract Details:
- Flexible Contract Type: Part Time / Full Time / On-going rolling contract.
- Flexibility on hours to suit your personal circumstances and commitments (Various shift patterns available including 4on4off days/nights).
- Shift Hours: 8 - 12 hours a day with various shift options available.
- Start and finish times will vary according to travel demands so they must be flexible.
- Free Parking on site.
- Summer retention bonus.
To qualify for the above bonus at the end of the season, you will need to adhere to the following requirements:
- No more than 2 no-shows during the season (April – October).
- Work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) for 3 out of 4 weekends each month.
- Be available for 3am, 4am, or 5am shifts if required.
- You won’t be penalised if you’re ready to work but there aren’t enough available shifts.
- Company systems and clocking in systems to be always used and adhered to.
- Always adhere to uniform standards to be set out in a separate email at a later stage.
- Any accidents or incidents to be reported to the Client at the time of the event.
- Not to be found responsible for any major accidents/damage involving customers or client vehicles due to careless driving/negligence (Subject to investigation outcome).
- The bonus will be paid at the end of the season to all qualifying drivers. Eligibility is based on your start month and full adherence to all the above criteria throughout the season. No exceptions will be made.

Car Park is open 24/7, with shifts available Monday to Sunday, both days and nights.
Day shifts: Hours to start: 3am, 4am, 5am additional start times may include 8am, 10am & midday. Shift lengths are 8, 10, or 12 hours.
Night shifts: Hours to start: 6pm, 8pm, 10pm. Night shifts typically finish at 6am, though there may be flexibility to finish earlier, such as 2am.
