We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strip Fitter to join our clients team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately book in all vehicles on arrival, ensuring details are correctly recorded on internal systems.
- Verify vehicle documentation and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Conduct initial vehicle checks, noting visible damage and missing items in line with company procedures.
- Ensure vehicles are directed to the correct load lane promptly and efficiently.
- Carry out load lane checks to confirm vehicles are correctly allocated, ready for despatch, and meet required standards.
- Check that keys, paperwork, and vehicle status are aligned prior to release.
- Liaise with yard, despatch, and transport teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow and minimise delays.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, status updates, and any issues identified.
- Identify and escape any operational issues, damage, or process deviations to the relevant team or manager.
Skills Requirements
- Previous experience as a vehicle trimmer, stripping, and re-fitting
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- The ability to maintain High quality Standards in fast-paced environment.
