ABOUT LOGIC 360
Logic 360 is a specialist staffing and workforce solutions business, part of the Assured Group of Companies - a group with genuine, active presence across the aviation sector.
We provide temporary, contract and permanent recruitment, workforce management, back-office administration and contingency support to clients ranging from SMEs to national and blue-chip organisations.
Our head office in Colnbrook sits minutes from Heathrow - a deliberate choice that reflects where our business is focused.
The Assured Group includes specialist subsidiaries operating across aviation services, with established teams of experienced aviation operatives and managers already working at airports across the UK.
This means our BDM doesn\'t walk in empty-handed - you have immediate access to a proven talent pool of airside-experienced staff and compliance-ready operatives, giving clients confidence from day one and giving you a genuine edge when competing for contracts.
Aviation is a sector we are actively building and investing in. This role exists to lead that growth.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business and build long-term client relationships selling agency staffing solutions into the aviation sector.
This is a growth role: your job is to open doors, win contracts and develop accounts with airports, ground handlers, airlines, cargo operators and aviation service providers.
You will also work closely with colleagues across the Assured Group to identify cross-sell opportunities - bringing the full capability of the group to bear where clients have needs that span staffing, managed services or specialist operational support.
While the role is national, the immediate priority is the South East airport cluster - Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, London City, Southend - where our operational footprint and existing group reputation give you a strong platform to build from.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, target and win new aviation workforce contracts across airports, ground handling, cargo, catering, security-cleared and airside operations.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, pitching, commercial negotiation and close.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline, prioritising the South East airports while developing national opportunities.
- Develop lasting client relationships that grow from initial placements into managed and preferred-supplier arrangements.
- Actively cross-sell the wider capabilities of the Assured Group where client needs extend beyond staffing - including specialist managed services and operational support delivered by group subsidiaries.
- Leverage the group\'s existing pool of experienced aviation operatives, airside-cleared staff and sector managers to support fast, credible mobilisation for new clients.
- Work closely with resourcing and operations teams to ensure what you sell is delivered to Logic 360\'s standards.
- Understand client demand patterns - seasonal peaks, disruption cover, mobilisation timescales - and shape flexible, compliant staffing solutions around them.
- Represent Logic 360 and the Assured Group at industry events and maintain a strong market profile across aviation workforce.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and reporting on activity, pipeline and revenue.
- WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Proven B2B business development / sales track record, ideally in operations, recruitment, staffing or an outsourced services environment.
- Demonstrable ability to open new accounts and close contracts from a standing start.
- Strong commercial acumen - comfortable with margins, rate negotiation and contract terms.
- Confident engaging senior decision-makers and managing long, relationship-led sales cycles.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, with regular time at South East airports.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role.
Desirable
- Experience selling into or working within aviation, or another high-volume, compliance-heavy environment (logistics, industrial, facilities, automotive).
- Understanding of temporary labour, workforce management and the compliance requirements of airside and security-cleared roles.
- Existing network within UK aviation - airports, ground handlers, cargo or airline operators.
- Experience working within or alongside a group structure, with the ability to identify and develop cross-sell opportunities across multiple service lines.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive basic salary with genuinely uncapped commission - your earning potential is dictated by your performance, not a cap.
- Car or car allowance and the tools to operate effectively in a field-based role.
- The backing of an established group with real operational credibility in aviation - not a start-up pitch, an actual track record.
- A ready-made competitive advantage: access to the group\'s existing pool of aviation-experienced staff and managers, so you can mobilise quickly and credibly from your first contract win.
- A genuine growth opportunity to build and own a sector with strong existing foundations and group-wide support behind you.
- Pension, holiday entitlement and benefits package - details on application.
