Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Painter to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on all types of makes and models of vehicles, and will be an integral part of our team as a Vehicle Painter operative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paint preparation of the vehicle – masking and prepping if required
- Spray painting required vehicles using water based paints
- Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match
- Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Paint technician
- Full UK/EU driving licence
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed
- Passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- Ability to work independently on vehicles and make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
