Role Overview
As part of an experienced mechanical team, you will carry out MOT checks, ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards for our customers under the guidance of the supervisor and Workshop Manager. You will also oversee all elements of the business over weekend periods as part of the 4 on 4 off shift rotation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests.
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as required.
- Perform repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- Plan and organise time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency.
- Assist with general workshop tasks as required.
- Diagnose problems on vehicles and perform electrical diagnostics when needed.
- Handle warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed.
