Company Logic 360 Ltd is seeking an Automotive Duty Manager for their production facility in Grimsby. This is a temp to permanent position with a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off from 06:00am to 18:00pm, offering a salary of £40,000 per annum.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will have knowledge of cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment including compound control. You will support the PM and PIM through duty manager responsibilities, overseeing all aspects of the operation including health and safety, production, compound moves, logistics and planning. You will deliver people management, recruitment, training, performance management and planning, leading production to maximise completions across cosmetic, mechanical and image departments. You will also oversee weekend periods as part of a 4 on 4 off shift rotation.

Accountabilities

  • Duty Management: Deputise for PM and PIM, leading across the site. Support a culture of safety and address non-conformances promptly. Share responsibility for ISO and Security with the Management Team. Handle queries and complaints from stakeholders to resolution. Take on other responsibilities as needed.
  • People Management: Assist in employee lifecycle: onboarding and off-boarding. Manage performance, training, coaching, appraisals for optimum performance and talent pipeline. Conduct grievance and disciplinary processes. Effective workforce management: absence planning, maintain optimal staff levels and comply with work-time directive. Communicate to the team to keep awareness of results and priorities.
  • Operational Management: Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. Promote a right-first-time mentality to improve quality, speed and cost. Inventory management: prepare vehicles and make AFS within SLAs. Coordinate with central admin to maximise performance. Manage site relationships with third-party suppliers.

Qualifications

Experience in a line manager or team leader role. High-level organisational skills and ability to communicate a variety of information and instruction to operational team members and leads.
