Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our client’s professional Bodyshop team. You will be responsible for diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance on cars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Complete Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
- Identify and report additional work required on customer vehicles
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent customer communication
- Carry out road tests and vehicle inspections where required
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency
- Support apprentices and less experienced technicians when appropriate
- Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical knowledge
Qualification and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous manufacturer or dealership experience desirable
- Diagnostic experience desirable
- MOT Tester licence desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
