Main Purpose of The Role: We’re looking for a proactive, hands on Bodyshop Paint Supervisor to join our client's team in Thurleigh. This is a key operational role where you’ll work closely with our bodyshop technicians on the workshop floor, ensuring smooth daily operations, high quality output, and a motivated, high performing team. If you bring extensive paint experience, strong technical knowledge, and the confidence to oversee a busy paint shop, this role gives you the chance to lead the core area of our bodyshop while setting the standard for quality and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate technicians to deliver safe, efficient, high quality work.
- Coordinate daily workloads, monitor progress, and resolve issues to meet operational targets.
- Provide hands on guidance, training, and mentoring to support skill development.
- Manage communication and HR tasks including briefings, attendance, holidays, and performance reviews.
Skill Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or team lead experience within a bodyshop or similar technical environment.
- At least 5 years’ hands on experience as a paint technician.
- Comfortable in a hands on, workshop based role rather than a desk based position.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
