DRIVER/COURIER - YEOVIL, TAUNTON & BRIDGWATER

• Deliver parcels safely to residential and business addresses.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
• Use a handheld device or delivery app to scan parcels and record deliveries.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
• Load and unload parcels safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep your delivery vehicle clean and tidy.
• Follow road safety rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect and load parcels at the depot.
• Deliver parcels safely to residential and business addresses.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
• Use a handheld device or delivery app to scan parcels and record deliveries.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Ability to lift and handle parcels weighing up to 25kg
• Reliability, punctuality and good organisational skills
• A responsible approach to driving and vehicle care
• Confidence working independently
• Ability to use a smartphone and navigation app
• A satisfactory DBS/background check, funded by the company
