Our client is a specialist fixed income boutique asset manager. They seek a junior-mid level Product professional to drive governance, launches and lifecycle oversight across UCITS and related structures. This is a high-ownership role within a small, collaborative team where fixed income knowledge and cultural fit are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Run periodic product reviews, amendments and terminations in line with policy and regulation.
- Partner with Risk and Technology to maintain and enhance product data and reporting.
- Assist with preparation and review of fund financial statements.
- Implement regulatory change across UCITS, AIFMD and MiFID II Product Governance.
- Prepare board packs, manage service providers, and represent the firm at fund boards where required.
- Support complex product launches, managing timelines and multi-stakeholder delivery.
- Coordinate the Product Governance Committee: agendas, materials, minutes and actions.
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle for fixed income funds and segregated mandates.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years’ experience within investment management or the investment funds industry.
- Strong grasp of fixed income markets and instruments, including ABS/structured credit, bond yields, loans, derivatives and syndication; familiarity with SFTR impacts on fixed income.
- Knowledge of UK and Irish fund structures, UCITS funds and listed investment companies.
- Working knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, FCA handbooks (COLL, FUNDS) and MiFID II Product Governance; exposure to regulators (e.g. FCA, Central).
