A Role That's Different Every Day: No two days with Loganair are the same. Your rostered hours will be varied, and you'll need to be prepared for shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays, and overnights. But for the right person, that variety is exactly what makes this role so rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Managing the safety of passengers in and around the cabin, from helping customers during boarding to carrying out safety demonstrations and security checks.
- Ensuring safety and security procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
- Keeping safety knowledge current and up to date.
- Participating in pre‑flight briefings with the flight crew.
- Carrying out all safety and security duties onboard.
- Maintaining the highest standard in uniform and personal presentation.
- Delivering the inflight service to company standards.
- Providing a high level of customer care at all times.
- Working closely with pilots as part of the onboard team.
- Contributing to on‑time performance.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of the cabin crew operational environment and standards.
- Knowledge of relevant UK CAA Regulatory Law.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Skills to deliver a high level of customer care.
- Ability to swim.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Professionalism, empathy, and effective communication skills when interacting with passengers and crew members.
Training and Experience We Value
- Experience within an airline environment.
- Current and valid passport.
- Travel and Tourism Qualification (beneficial but not essential).
- Demonstration of fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Hold a UK Cabin Crew Medical.
- Previous experience in a customer service setting, preferably fast‑paced.
- Previous experience working independently and autonomously.
Essential Criteria (Due to Aircraft Safety Regulations)
- At least 18 years of age.
- Height between 5'2" and 5'11".
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Able to swim unassisted at least 25 meters.
- Able to pass a medical carried out by a CAA approved AME.
- Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Be able to provide a clear disclosure certificate and references for the last 5 years.
- Live within, or be willing to relocate to, 60 minutes of your base airport.
