The role: We are seeking an experienced 3D Inventor Design Draughtsperson to join our Mechanical Engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers as part of a project team, contributing to the design and development of innovative solutions. You will also be expected to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings and 3D models that meet project and client requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, as required.
- Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson in the Mechanical Engineering sector.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD software is essential.
- Experience in the use of Teamcenter PLM would be advantageous.
- A good knowledge of welding and fabrications.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Prior knowledge of Subsea technologies and/or cable lay equipment is desirable.
