Senior Product Manager

Please note

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This role is about owning a product end-to-end and ensuring it succeeds in the market.

As Senior Product Manager, you'll take full ownership of a product — its strategy, backlog, and commercial performance — and see it through from first customer insight to measurable business results.

If you're energized by setting multi-quarter direction, leading through influence, and being accountable for outcomes rather than just delivery, this is built for you.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll own a full product across multiple teams with minimal oversight — setting its multi-quarter strategy, leading discovery, roadmap, and delivery, and answering for adoption, retention, and commercial performance.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who wants to lead cross-team work through influence rather than authority and mentor less experienced product managers along the way.

You'll be the internal and external authority on your customers' user job tasks, and a credible partner to Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales — turning customer insight into product decisions and business cases that teams can rally behind.

The compensation range for this role is£105k - £140k per year, based on a full-time schedule.

This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position.

Where an offer falls within the range depends on factors including: relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end backlog, strategy, and commercial performance of a full product, working across teams with minimal oversight.
  • Set multi-quarter product strategy and represent it in company roadmap reviews.
  • Balance customer needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility in all decisions, arbitrating architecture trade-offs in higher-complexity domains.
  • Act as the internal and external authority on customer user job tasks for the product area.
  • Customer & Market Leadership
  • Deeply understand customer workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Set the discovery and experimentation standard for the product, running structured tests to de-risk significant bets.
  • Define the metric tree for the product and make evidence-based kill/continue decisions.
  • Shape competitive positioning with Product Marketing, and represent the voice of the customer in cross-functional forums.
  • Execution & Delivery
  • Lead discovery, roadmap, and delivery for higher-complexity domains — owning product outcomes such as adoption, retention, and delivery of the committed roadmap, not just the launch.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership on architecture, build-vs-buy decisions, scalability, and technical-debt trade-offs.
  • Establish the standards, RACI, and technical governance that others follow, and resolve cross-team dependencies and risks without escalation.
  • Own the platform, API, and integration strategy for the product, and advise Sales and Customer Success on regulated-industry edge cases.
  • Influence & Collaboration
  • Lead through influence, without formal authority, across Engineering, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Design, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Influence cross-team priorities, dependencies, and sequencing.
  • Mentor less experienced product managers and act as a trusted partner to Engineering leadership.
  • Outcomes & Accountability
  • Own the P&L-relevant levers for the product: pricing, packaging, attach rate, and renewal risk.
  • Build and defend investment business cases with credible revenue, cost, and TCO assumptions.
  • Define and track success using clear metrics (customer adoption, retention, business impact, quality), and own decisions and outcomes for the product.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • 8+ years of related experience in Product Management with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or a Ph D with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to own a full product end to end — backlog, strategy, and commercial performance — across teams with minimal oversight.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the judgment to set multi-quarter strategy and resolve complex issues involving many variable factors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including building and defending investment business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority, influencing cross-team priorities and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-informed decision making, including defining metric trees and running structured experiments.
  • Preferred
  • Experience in Saa S, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Experience in Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with global teams and customers.
  • Success Metrics
  • Measurable product outcomes: adoption, retention, and delivery of the committed roadmap.
  • Clear multi-quarter product strategy, represented and endorsed in company roadmap reviews.
  • Cross-team dependencies and risks resolved without escalation, with strong cross-functional alignment.
  • Healthy commercial performance of the product: pricing, packaging, attach rate, and renewal risk.
  • Evidence-based investment decisions and growing product management capability among the people you mentor.
