This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, business-facing HR role where you’ll have the freedom to make a genuine impact. Rather than inheriting a fully established function, you’ll join a team that is passionate about continuous improvement and open to new ideas.
You’ll gain exposure across every aspect of the employee lifecycle while leading projects that influence the future of the business, from HR systems and reporting through to wellbeing, EDI, learning and development, and organisational growth. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on HR delivery.
You’ll be joining a supportive, non-hierarchical team that encourages collaboration, values fresh thinking and gives people the autonomy to shape their own areas of responsibility.
What will you be doing?
Working in partnership with the Head of People and People Manager, you’ll provide expert HR support across a growing international business of around 360 employees. Your role will span employee relations, coaching managers, payroll oversight, policy development and HR compliance, while also driving improvements across people processes and systems. A key focus will be helping the business maximise its HRIS, using technology, reporting and data to improve decision-making and create more efficient ways of working. Experience with Cezanne would be highly advantageous.
Alongside the operational elements of the role, you’ll contribute to exciting projects across learning and development, employee wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion, and organisational development. You’ll enjoy creating structure, managing projects, improving processes and ensuring the People function continues to evolve alongside the business.
We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist with a proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Previous experience within architecture, design, engineering or another professional services environment would be highly desirable.
Where will you be doing it?
Based in the company’s London studio, you’ll work as part of a collaborative People team supporting colleagues across the UK and Asia Pacific. The business has built an outstanding reputation within the architecture sector, combining award-winning projects with a people-first culture and ambitious plans for continued growth.
This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders while helping shape an inclusive, high-performing culture across an international business.
If you’re an experienced HR Business Partner or People Lead looking for a role where you can make a visible impact and help shape the future of a growing People function, we’d love to hear from you.
