We are looking to recruit an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join an award winning, friendly multi-disciplinary consultancy in Essex. The successful Architectural Technologist will have an important role, leading aspects of some of their key projects.
The Company
Our client is a mid-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy with several UK offices. They have experience in a number of project sectors and scales. They have an excellent work life balance in place, flexible working hours and a real commitment to looking after their staff, including 2-3 days working from home available.
All projects are in Revit and most are BIM level 2. Revit training can be provided. The team are passionate about their work and there is a friendly and sociable working environment.
The Opportunity
The successful Architectural Technologist will join the practice as a Senior Architectural Technologist and will be given support and autonomy, and will have the opportunity to play an important role on several key projects. The company works in Revit, has a BIM manager and a dedicated BIM team that help support the Architects and Technologists. They work across a range of building sectors and typologies, so this is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience on a variety of project types in a multi-disciplinary environment.
The Requirements:
- A degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Experience using Revit (and AutoCAD) would be an advantage
- Experience working on UK based projects and good knowledge of the UK building regulations
- Experience across RIBA stages 3-5
- An interest in working on a variety of project typologies
- Some experience on residential projects would be an advantage
Salary and Package
Salary of £42,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. Hybrid working, 2-3 days working from home per week. 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays. Private healthcare, pension etc.
