A global Architecture practice with a reputation for designing and delivering interesting, complex projects through construction and are leaders in the use of BIM/Revit and technology in construction, are growing their London office.
Our Client are a multi-office international practice with nearly 200 staff across Architecture, Engineering, Project Management and Interiors. They are advocates for the use of Technology in construction and have built a reputation of being leaders in the use of Revit and BIM, as well as being able to complete complex projects through construction. They also have an award-winning design team.
The company have several large-scale projects in London including a 450 unit new build hotel in central London which is at stage 4 and they will see through to completion, in addition to a 700 unit residential scheme in London (which they designed) which is at stage 3 and they will see through to completion. They have a landmark, design-led residential project, 310 units currently on site and the practice are looking for an experienced architect with site experience to take a leading role on this project.

The Role
The Senior Architect will initially take on a leading role on a large multi-unit residential project which is currently on site in London. It is a significant and important project, and the Senior Architect will be working closely with the Client, Contractor and the Partner of the London studio. In the short term, this is an opportunity to lead a great project on site. In the longer term, the idea is that this Senior Architect will become a member of the senior leadership team, so needs to have an interest in helping make strategic decisions and oversee the work of others.
The Requirements
- Experienced Architect, Technologist, Technician or equivalent.
- Experience working on UK-based projects with knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Experience working on site-based projects and being client and contractor facing.
- Able to review Stage 5 subcontractor packages.
- Able to deal with clients on site, handle contractor RFIs etc.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in professional practice.
- Basic Revit knowledge is desirable to edit others' drawings when required.
- Experience delivering mid or large projects on site.
