Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 6 offices in the UK. Their projects span a range of sectors and their services include architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, planning, interior design, sustainability, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, project management, CDM and health and safety services.

The BIM Manager role is a new role for the practice, pulling together a number of areas of their business with the objective of helping the practice achieve ISO 19650 compliance at a high level while aiding in gaining greater efficiency, standardisation of drawing procedures, components, and data infrastructure for the benefit of the practice fee-earning teams.

The BIM Manager role will be at the focus of a number of activity streams focused around quality but will also play a part in project delivery on key BIM level 2 projects in helping to ensure projects are correctly set up and the process of delivery of BIM level 2 projects is managed.

The Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a Senior BIM Coordinator, BIM Lead or BIM Manager in a design, architecture or construction company
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650
  • Able to set out and implement BIM strategy across the practice
  • A good knowledge of modern tools and ways of working

This is a hybrid role and can be based out of either their London, Norwich or Cambridge office. Candidates with notice periods up to 3 months will be considered for this position.
