The Company
We are recruiting for a high profile, award‑winning medium‑sized international architecture practice in Central London who are growing their concept design team. Their portfolio of designed and delivered projects are excellent, with a particular focus on design‑led, large scale projects in both the UK and internationally. The practice have a track record of offering progression, with examples of people climbing the ranks all the way to directorship.
The Opportunity
The company are underway with a very exciting, highly confidential set of international projects and are looking for someone who can play a key role in leading some of the design. These projects are huge masterplans of high‑end, new build hospitality, residential and mixed use buildings. Prior experience in these sectors is not required, but excellent design ability is essential. This is a great place to work if you are highly creative and want high quality projects with excellent design, but also want to play a key role and progress quickly. In this company, you will NOT feel like a small cog in a big machine, which happens at some larger studios. You will be an important part of the company and your ideas will be heard and implemented.
The Role
This is a hands on Senior Design Architect / Associate role. You will play a key role in managing the design process, ensuring the development of innovative design solutions and their seamless integration throughout all design and construction phases. Efficiently generate and explore high‑quality 3D models. Develop presentations for clients and stakeholders which communicate design development.
The Requirements
- Qualified architect either in the UK or internationally (ARB not required if qualified internationally)
- Excellent design ability, exemplified by a portfolio of projects
- Visualisation skills - good knowledge of realtime rendering packages (Enscape, twinmotion or Lumion)
- Rhino
- Experience using Grasshopper, Vray, BIM/Revit, dynamo, scripting etc. would be an advantage but not essential
- Confident co‑ordinating consulting teams
- A friendly team player
The Salary/package
This role offers a salary of £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, 24 days annual leave + Bank holidays, Life Insurance, Pension Scheme, Cycle to work scheme, Season Ticket Loan.
Candidates with notice periods up to 3 months will be considered for this role, however, an immediate start can be offered if you are available sooner.
