We are seeking a high-performing Remote Recruiter / Talent Sourcer with direct experience in the space or aerospace industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record sourcing and hiring engineering, technical, program management, and business operations roles in fastâpaced, highâgrowth environments.
The recruiter will partner closely with Orbitworks hiring managers, engineering leads, program teams, and People Operations to build pipelines, execute sourcing strategies, and support endâtoâend hiring for technical and operational roles.
About the Role
- Source, identify, and engage highâcaliber candidates for satellite engineering, systems engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, testing, program management, and business operations roles.
- Build and manage strong talent pipelines for both active and future hiring needs.
- Execute targeted sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, engineering communities, networks, and specialist channels.
- Screen candidates for technical depth, functional capability, and cultural fit.
- Work closely with engineering and business leaders to understand role requirements, team structures, and mission priorities.
- Provide realâtime market feedback, candidate insights, and sourcing intelligence.
- Support job description creation, role scoping, and candidate competency frameworks.
- Conduct initial screens and ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Coordinate candidate movement efficiently across stages to ensure timely feedback.
- Maintain ATS data accuracy and recruitment hygiene.
- Track sourcing metrics, pipeline stats, and timeâtoâhire performance.
- Help build sustainable hiring processes, sourcing playbooks, and market maps.
Must Haves
- Experience recruiting in space, aerospace, defense, satellite manufacturing, launch, or advanced hardware engineering environments.
- Sourcing experience for roles such as Mechanical, Electrical, Avionics, RF, Software, Payload engineers; Manufacturing, AIT (Assembly, Integration Mission Operations Program Managers; Business Operations (PMO, finance ops, supply chain, procurement).
- 3â7 years of recruiting or sourcing experience (inâhouse or agency).
- Strong direct sourcing capability with proven results in hardâtoâfill technical roles.
- Experience in highâgrowth startups or engineeringâheavy organizations preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while delivering high output.

- High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable traveling to Abu Dhabi for periodic onsite collaboration.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, Github).
